What you control
- Which preceptors represent you. Preceptors are linked to your site only with your authorisation, and only after their own credentials are verified.
- How many students you take. Capacity is held against real commitments, so you cannot be committed beyond what you published.
- What students must complete first. Background requirements, immunisations, systems access, orientation, and your own agreements, tracked with owners and due dates.
- Your site fee. Set it once; it appears as its own line on the student’s quote.
Scheduling that respects your time zone
Shifts are stored as local times against your site’s time zone rather than being converted and reconverted. A 07:00 start is 07:00 at your site, whatever device the student is looking at it on.
Site questions
Do we control which preceptors represent our site?
Yes. A preceptor is linked to your site only once your site administrator authorises them, and only verified preceptors can be linked at all. Authorisation can be withdrawn.
Can we charge a site fee?
Yes. You set an amount and a basis — per hour, day, week, or rotation — and it is included in the student's quote as a separate, labelled line item rather than being folded into a single opaque price.
How do we avoid being overbooked?
You set capacity, and the platform holds it against confirmed commitments. A placement cannot be committed past the capacity you have published, and a held slot is released if the offer expires.
What onboarding can we require?
Whatever you already require: background checks, immunisation records, systems or EHR access, orientation, and site-specific agreements. Define them once and every student placed with you gets the same checklist, tracked to completion with owners and due dates.
